The Meta-side account that owns your phone numbers, message templates, quality rating and messaging limits.
A WABA sits inside your Meta Business Account and holds everything WhatsApp-related: the phone numbers you have registered, the templates you have submitted, the quality rating on each number, and your messaging limit tier.
The point worth internalising is that the WABA belongs to your business, not to your provider. Changing platforms does not mean changing your number or losing your standing — a provider who implies otherwise is describing a lock-in that does not exist.
