Watx vs AiSensy

AiSensy is an India-based WhatsApp Business API platform known for broadcast campaigns and a large catalogue of integrations, widely used by Indian small and mid-sized businesses.

This is the closest comparison on price and market — both are Indian, both bill in rupees, both are built for teams that live on WhatsApp. The question worth asking is what happens after the broadcast: whether the replies land somewhere a team can work them, whether an AI agent can resolve them, and whether the ones worth money become tracked deals.

No card required. Keep the WhatsApp Business app on your number while you try it.

What this page will and will not claim

We state what Watx does, and you can check every line of it against our pricing and features pages. We do not publish AiSensy's prices or a list of things we say they cannot do — those change, and a comparison table where one side wins every row is an advert, not information. Where their answer matters, we tell you the question to ask and link you to them.

Watx vs AiSensy

The eight things that actually decide this purchase. Our answers are ours; the third column is what to check with AiSensy — and with us.

Per-message markup

Watx: None. Meta bills you directly at Meta’s rates; our subscription is the whole of what we charge.

Do you add a per-message fee on top of Meta’s rate? Ask for it in writing.

Keeping the WhatsApp Business app

Watx: Supported. Coexistence keeps your number on the app while the same conversations reach the inbox.

Do you support Meta coexistence, or does onboarding end the app on my number?

AI agents

Watx: Several per workspace, each with its own persona, knowledge base, skills and escalation rules. Bring your own OpenAI, Anthropic or Google key, or use included credits.

Is the AI a keyword bot or a real agent? Can I use my own model key? What does it cost per reply?

Currency and billing

Watx: Priced and charged in INR, from ₹999/month. GST invoiced.

Am I billed in my own currency, or exposed to FX and card fees every month?

Multiple brands or clients

Watx: One login, many workspaces, isolated per workspace at the database level. Switching client is a menu, not a logout.

What does a second brand cost, and is its data actually separated from the first?

Developer access

Watx: Public REST API with scoped keys, outgoing webhooks, HTTP steps in automations, Zapier, and a website chat widget.

Is the API on every plan or gated behind the top tier?

Sales pipeline

Watx: Kanban deal pipelines with your own stages, linked to the contact and the conversation, plus click-to-WhatsApp attribution.

Does a conversation ever become a tracked deal, or does it stop at the inbox?

Getting your data out

Watx: Export contacts and conversations whenever you like; cancel whenever you like. Deletion or return on termination is in our Data Processing terms.

Can I export everything without asking support? What happens to my data if I cancel?

Our column is checkable on /pricing and /features. For AiSensy's current answers, go to aisensy.com.

The inbox is the product, not the campaign

Broadcasts start conversations; the value is in what happens next. Assignment, status, full contact history, the 24-hour window surfaced in the UI, and WhatsApp, Instagram and web chat in one queue.

Conversations become deals

Kanban pipelines with your own stages, deals linked to the contact and the conversation, and click-to-WhatsApp attribution — so campaign spend is judged on revenue rather than on delivery reports.

Bring your own AI model key

Use your own OpenAI, Anthropic or Google key and pay the model provider directly, or use included credits. Either way the agent runs on your knowledge base, not a generic script.

What moving a number actually involves.

True of any move between providers, including one away from us.

Does my number belong to my current provider?

No. Your WhatsApp Business Account and phone number belong to your business. A provider is the technology partner connected to it, and you can change that partner without changing your number.

Do my conversations come with me?

No, and no provider can make them. Message history lives with the platform that received it — export it from your current provider before you leave. In Watx the inbox fills from the next message onward, and you import your contacts from CSV.

Do I have to get my templates approved again?

Plan for it. Templates are held against your WhatsApp Business Account, but which ones carry across depends on how your current provider set the account up. Have the text of your active templates saved before you start — re-approval is usually quick.

Do I lose my messaging tier and quality rating?

They belong to the number and the WhatsApp Business Account, not to the provider, so a well-behaved number keeps its standing through a move. That is the argument for not letting a provider damage it in the first place.

How much downtime is there?

A short window while the number is disconnected from one platform and connected to the other. Do it outside your busiest hours, and have someone watching the WhatsApp Business app or the new inbox while it completes.

Judge it on your own traffic.

15 days, no card, and coexistence means you do not have to commit your number to find out. That is a better test than anybody's comparison table — including this one.
