Collect Razorpay payments inside a WhatsApp conversation
The gap between “send me the link” and being paid is where sales go quiet. Connect your own Razorpay account and a person, an automation or an AI agent can send a payment link in the chat — and Watx knows the moment it is paid.
How this connects
Part of Watx. Connect it in settings and nothing else is required.
Razorpay and Watx, together.
- Uses your own Razorpay account, so the money goes straight to you
- Create a payment link from an automation step or mid-conversation
- AI agents can request a payment when the customer is ready to buy
- Triggers when a payment is received, or a link expires or is cancelled
Four automations that earn their keep.
-
When
Customer confirms an order in chat
Then
Send a payment link for the exact amount without leaving the conversation.
-
When
Payment received
Then
Send the receipt template and move the deal to won.
-
When
Link expired unpaid
Then
Follow up with a fresh link before the intent goes cold.
-
When
Invoice issued
Then
Send the GST invoice from Watx with a link to pay it.
How to connect it.
About ten minutes, no code.
- 1 In the Razorpay dashboard, generate an API key ID and secret.
- 2 Open Integrations in Watx, choose Razorpay and paste them in — they are stored encrypted.
- 3 Add a “Create payment link” step to an automation, or give an AI agent the payment tool.
- 4 Run a test payment and check the trigger fires.

Can customers pay inside WhatsApp?
They get the link in WhatsApp and pay on Razorpay. The confirmation comes back into the same conversation.
Which category are payment messages?
Receipts and payment reminders are utility, which is the cheap category. Anything promotional attached to them makes the whole template marketing.
