Know which ad started the chat, and tell Meta when it sold
Click-to-WhatsApp ads are cheap to start and hard to measure: the click ends in a chat, and Ads Manager never hears what happened next. Watx records the ad behind every conversation and reports the outcome back to Meta.
How this connects
Part of Watx. Connect it in settings and nothing else is required.
Click-to-WhatsApp ads and Watx, together.
- Every ad-started conversation is tagged with the ad it came from
- Report ad performance by conversations, not just clicks
- Send conversions back to Meta through the Conversions API
- A “Report conversion” step lets any automation send the signal
Four automations that earn their keep.
-
When
Someone taps your ad
Then
The conversation opens in the inbox with the ad and campaign attached.
-
When
The lead is qualified
Then
Report the conversion so Meta finds more people like them.
-
When
A payment is received
Then
Report a purchase with the value, so the campaign optimises for revenue.
How to connect it.
About ten minutes, no code.
- 1 Connect WhatsApp through the Cloud API — ad attribution starts on its own.
- 2 Create the Conversions API dataset from Watx.
- 3 Add a “Report conversion” step to the automations that mark a sale or a qualified lead.
- 4 Watch the results in Watx and in Ads Manager.
Click-to-WhatsApp ads, answered.
Do I need to add tracking to my ads?
No. Meta attaches the ad details to the first message, and Watx reads them from there.
Why send conversions back?
Without them Meta optimises for chats started, which is not the same as customers won.
